Odoo SEO
SEO for sites that run on Odoo
We handle technical audits, site structure and on-page work right inside the Website builder, and we know exactly where Odoo's job ends and the real work starts.
See what it costsHere's the familiar pattern: a site migrates to Odoo, or gets built on it from the start, traffic sits flat for a year, and the agencies bidding on the audit have never so much as opened the Website builder. What comes back is a spreadsheet of fixes written for a platform they don't actually know, and roughly half those items are things Odoo already handles, or things nobody could implement without knowing where the setting even lives.
Out of the box, Odoo hands you more than most platforms do: clean markup, automatic sitemaps, canonical tags, per-page meta editing, multi-language URLs that actually work. A reason to rank isn't part of that package, though. Structure, content and authority remain genuine work, and that work moves faster once whoever is doing it stops fighting the platform.
Our process: audit the site, map out structure and keywords, make the on-page changes directly inside Odoo, then train your team to keep running it. There's no twelve-month retainer attached, and no monthly PDF nobody reads.
What the work includes
- Technical audit
- We crawl the live site for indexation problems, duplicate content, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and hreflang if you're publishing in more than one language. Then we rank the findings by impact rather than by how many there are.
- Keyword and structure map
- We map out which pages you should have, what queries each one targets, and how they should link to each other. For eCommerce sites, that's mostly category architecture, and it carries more weight than any individual tag.
- On-page implementation
- We change titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alts and internal links directly in the Website builder, rather than handing your team another to-do list.
- eCommerce SEO
- On product and category pages, we handle variant and canonical behaviour, add structured data for rich results, and write descriptions that actually read like a person wrote them.
- Replatforming without losing rankings
- When you move to Odoo from WordPress, Shopify or anything else, we crawl every URL, map it, and redirect it deliberately. That redirect map is something you receive, not something anyone assumes will happen on its own.
- Measurement and the six-month review
- We wire up Search Console and GA4, record a baseline, then come back six months later with a review that spells out what moved, what didn't, and where to go from there.
What we will not sell you
Start with guaranteed rankings, because nobody controls Google, and any agency promising the top spot is revealing something about the rest of its promises too. What we commit to instead is doing the work and measuring it honestly.
Also off the table: link-buying schemes and AI-generated article farms. For a quarter they look like growth; later they look like a manual penalty. Lasting authority comes from pages actually worth citing, and building those takes longer but holds up.
There's no permanent retainer either. Most Odoo sites go through one heavy quarter of structural work and settle into a light touch after that. If handing the reins to your own team is the sensible move, we'll tell you that and train them to take it.
What it costs
SEO work here runs fixed-scope: first an audit with an implementation plan, then an agreed block of implementation work. The price is set before anything starts, and the audit holds up on its own even if you take the plan somewhere else.
Content is the one real variable. Keep it small by having your team write it, or let us handle it, in which case we scope per page and you sign off on the list beforehand.

Migration work is our publishable proof, three engagements where the projection became operational reality on Odoo. The same senior team stands behind every service, and the full case studies are on the migration page.

Odoo SEO, the questions we actually get
01
Is Odoo good for SEO out of the box?
The mechanics hold up well: clean markup, automatic XML sitemaps, canonical tags, editable metas, proper multi-language URLs. Nothing ranks straight out of the box on any platform, though, since rankings come down to structure, content and authority. What Odoo gives you is a technical layer that won't fight you while you build those.
02
Will moving my site to Odoo hurt my rankings?
Only if the migration is handled carelessly. Since rankings are tied to URLs and a replatform changes them, we crawl every live URL beforehand, map each one to its new home, redirect on purpose, and check the map again after cutover. Handled this way, most sites wobble for two to four weeks and then recover.
03
How long before SEO shows results?
Technical fixes can show up within a month. Structure and content changes take longer to settle, usually three to six months, since Google re-evaluates on its own timeline. If someone quotes you weeks, they're measuring something other than organic traffic.
04
Can you work alongside our existing marketing agency?
Yes, that arrangement is common. Typically your agency keeps strategy and content, and we take the Odoo side: technical fixes, site structure, and putting their recommendations into the builder without breaking the theme.
05
Do you write the content too?
We can, if that's what you want. Content gets scoped separately, and you approve the page list before anything is written. Sometimes your own team knows the subject better than any writer we could bring in, and when that's true, we'll say so, since a subject-matter expert paired with an editor tends to beat an agency writer on most B2B topics.
