Odoo Website and eCommerce builds

Your site and your storefront run on the same database as your orders, stock and invoices, one system rather than a website stitched to an ERP through a nightly file.

See what it costs

Most companies end up with a website that marketing controls and an ERP that operations controls, stitched together by an integration nobody actually owns. Product data drifts apart. The storefront says one stock figure while the warehouse says another, and somebody spends Monday morning reconciling the difference by hand.

Build the site inside Odoo and that join disappears. A product exists as a single record, so the price shown on the page is the price in the order, and the stock figure is the real one. That is really the whole argument, and it is worth being clear that it is an argument about architecture, not about design tools.

We build the marketing site and the storefront together, carry the content and the SEO across with it, and hand over something your team can genuinely edit without picking up the phone to call us.

What we build

Marketing sites
Corporate sites, product sites and multi-language sites, all built on the Odoo Website builder. Afterwards, your team edits pages using drag-and-drop blocks instead of filing tickets.
B2C storefronts
Catalogue, variants, payment providers, shipping rates and returns, and every order lands directly in the same system that already runs fulfilment and accounting.
B2B portals
Customer-specific pricelists, quotation requests and credit limits, plus a portal where a buyer can check their own orders, invoices and delivery status without emailing anyone.
Migrations onto Odoo
Moving a storefront off Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento, including the piece most quotes skip over entirely: preserving URLs and redirects so your rankings actually survive the move.
Theme and design work
Custom themes built on Odoo's block system instead of a rigid template, which lets the site keep its own identity and stay editable long after we leave.
Integrations at the edges
Payment gateways, carriers, tax engines such as Avalara, and marketing tools, basically anything the storefront needs that a specialist product handles better than custom code would.

Where things go wrong: the SEO migration

Traffic loss during a replatform is almost never the new platform's fault: it is the URL map. When a catalogue gets restructured, hundreds of product and category URLs change at once, and if the redirects are wrong or simply missing, the rankings those pages held vanish, and recovering them takes months.

We treat the redirect map as its own deliverable: every live URL gets crawled before the build begins, mapped one-to-one wherever that is possible, and verified after cutover rather than just assumed to work. Canonical tags, structured data and the XML sitemap all move along with it. And where a page genuinely has no equivalent, that becomes a decision someone makes on purpose, not a 404 that turns up six weeks later in Search Console.

That is the honest reason a storefront migration costs more than building something new of the same size: the building itself turns out to be the easy half.

What it costs

A marketing site build runs $9K–$30K and takes 5–10 weeks to deliver, and where you land in that range depends on how much theme customization you want, how many languages are involved, and whether an SEO migration is in scope. A storefront runs $14K–$45K over driven mostly by B2B catalogue complexity and how many integrations you need.

Those figures are build costs, on top of the Odoo license itself. If you already run Odoo, the site becomes an addition to an instance you already own, rather than a separate platform carrying its own subscription, and that is usually the point where the comparison against a hosted storefront tips one way or the other.

Website and eCommerce builds: frequently asked questions

  • 01

Is Odoo Website good enough to replace WordPress?

For a business site tied to an ERP, yes, and that integration is precisely the reason to choose it. For a publisher running a large editorial operation with a heavy plugin ecosystem, WordPress remains the better tool, and we will tell you that directly. The real question is not which builder has more features. It is whether your site needs to know what your business already knows.

  • 02

    Can Odoo eCommerce replace Shopify?

It replaces Shopify well once your operations become the complicated part: real inventory, manufacturing, B2B pricing, multiple entities, or a fulfilment process that Shopify apps only cover partway. Shopify still wins on pure storefront polish, its app ecosystem, and getting a simple catalogue live fast. If your business is a straightforward D2C catalogue with no operational complexity behind it, moving to Odoo is effort without a payoff.

  • 03

Will we lose search rankings if we migrate?

Not if the redirect map is built properly, and that single factor matters more than anything else. We crawl every indexed URL before the build, map each one to its destination, and confirm the redirects resolve after cutover. Some fluctuation for a few weeks while Google recrawls is normal and expected. A sustained loss points to a missing redirect map, not to the platform itself.

  • 04

Can our team edit the site afterwards?

That is exactly the point of building on the block system instead of a hard-coded theme. Your team can edit pages, add sections and publish without needing a developer. We hand over with training, and the pieces that genuinely need care, the checkout flow and structured data among them, are the ones we document rather than lock down.

  • 05

Do you build sites for companies that do not use Odoo?

Not on this site, no. Everything here assumes Odoo is already your system of record, because that is where the architecture argument actually holds up. If you want a website with no ERP behind it, we are neither the cheapest option nor the most obvious one, and we would rather tell you that upfront than take the project anyway.
