Yes, via the Odoo mobile app (iOS and Android) or a public share link emailed to them weekly. Mobile view shows their shifts, lets them request swaps, claim open shifts, and submit time-off. No Odoo account needed if you use share links.
02Does Planning enforce labor law limits (max hours, mandatory breaks)?
Working-hour limits are configurable per contract or employee, and the scheduler blocks shifts that would exceed them. Mandatory-break rules trigger validation. For jurisdiction-specific rules (FLSA overtime, Quebec daily-rest), configure thresholds during implementation.
03Can Planning replace Monday.com for our 40-person service business?
For shift and resource scheduling tied to operations (jobs, work orders, projects), yes. Monday.com is more flexible as a general work tracker. Many service businesses adopt Planning for the operating side and keep Monday for marketing or one-off projects.
04Do hours flow to payroll automatically?
