For typical PDF invoices, header fields (vendor, total, date) extract with high accuracy. Line items vary by format, native PDFs are accurate, scanned images depend on resolution. The model improves as users correct extractions.
02Can Documents replace Dropbox or Box for our company?
For documents tied to Odoo work, yes, the workflow integration is the value. For general team file sharing (design assets, marketing collateral, raw video), Dropbox/Box remain better. Many teams use Documents for finance/HR/legal and keep Dropbox for creative.
03What about regulated retention requirements?
Per-workspace retention policies enforce auto-archive or auto-delete after a configurable horizon. Audit logs are exportable for review by external auditors. For HIPAA, PHI requires deployment-level controls handled outside Documents itself.
